Champaign-Urbana Public Health District has notified the Heritage District that one Heritage K-8 staff member and one Heritage HS student have tested positive for COVID-19.
With about 2 weeks left in the semester ahead of holiday break, we want to remind everyone to please continue to report and communicate with the main offices, administration, and school nurse DiAnne Boyd when anything develops at home including symptoms, possible exposures, and/or any test outcomes.
With winter arriving, positive case numbers and hospitalizations have risen recently in Champaign County as they did a year ago, so we want to keep everyone safe and having in-person school as we have since August 2020. Thanks for everyone's help in achieving that through this ongoing pandemic!
