Elementary/Junior High Announcements:
- The next JH Boys Basketball game will be played on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at Oakland against Tri-County at 6:00 PM. The bus will leave from Homer at 4:30 PM and from Broadlands at 4:45 PM. Good luck!
Order your 2023-24 Little Hawks yearbook now for $20. Order forms were sent home on September 27th. You can order online at yearbookforever.com for $21.25. Please email Shelley Tison with any questions at shelley.tison@heritage8.org
Reminders:
- No vehicles are permitted in the circle drive where buses drop off in the morning or afternoon and you must stay in your car when dropping off in the drop-off lane.
- If sending in snacks or treats for a class, please remember no home-baked goods can be shared. All items must be pre-packaged and in-store box containers.
- If your student will be gone for a doctor’s appointment, please have him/her bring a note from the doctor upon returning to school to show that they were there. Otherwise, the absence will be marked unexcused by the school.
- Please remember that there is NO SMOKING/VAPING on school grounds, and that seat belts should be fastened properly around children as they are being picked up or dropped off on school property.
- Please remember to discuss with your student as to whether or not he/she will be eating breakfast/lunch that is offered at the school this year. Menus are available as needed.
- If you need to pick up or drop anything off to a student or staff member in the building, please make sure to call and make arrangements with office staff before doing so.

- The 2023 Yearbooks are in! If you didn’t buy one yet, there are a few extras. For $60, all the memories from 2023 can be yours! Write checks to Heritage High School. See Mrs. Campos.
Reminders:
- Just a reminder that the staff lounge is for staff only. There should not be any students or athletes in there before, during, or after school. Students are not allowed to use microwaves or take any items from the staff lounge.
- Parents: Reminder! If your student is absent for 5 or more consecutive days for illness, they must have a doctor’s note to return to school or the absences are considered unexcused.
- Lunch Reminder: Lunches at the HS are now 2.70 per lunch. HS lunches may be paid via cash or check at the school office. You may also pay for your student’s lunches through the TeacherEase app.
- Parents: Just a reminder that if your student will not be in school for the day, please be sure you are calling the office to let us know. Your student will be marked as an unexcused absence for the day if we have not heard from you. Thank you.
